I built the RoverMkII with intentions of building an autonomous, mapping, obstacle-avoiding robot. It is also the test platform for more tools and circuits that I've built.
I've included on the Lego chassis these components:
-One AxonII microcontroller
-Two 2500mAh Li-Ion batteries in series providing power
-One Ping Sonar
-One Sharp IR rangerfinder
-One Custom SD card Holder and 2GB card
-One custom audio amplifier and speaker
-Two servos converted to motors
-One L239D motor driver board
-One Full Color LED status indicator
-Two omnidirectional wheels
The Current programming is done in the WebbotLib programming interface in C++. I am not sure what is the end-goal of the robot now.
